Celtic Prayer

Modern Celtic Prayer draws on the heritage of prayer from the early Celtic Christians. It features simple but poetic prayers, some adapted from original texts and others written in modern times inspired by the Celtic tradition. Many of the prayers are inspired by nature and God in creation, or reflect the Trinitarian person of God. Other Celtic prayers relate to everyday activities and link spirituality and daily life. Celtic Christians also valued the creative arts so music, poetry, art and storytelling are all important in Celtic worship. People often find Celtic Prayer creative, refreshing and calming.
