Newcomers’ coffee

Joining a new church, or joining any organization for the first time, can often be a daunting experience. Everyone already knows each other and has their own role and it can be difficult to found out where you fit into it all.

If we’re honest then All Saints’ in Marlow is probably no different, but we recognise that and to make up for it we would like to welcome any newcomers to the church to join us for coffee and a chance to meet some of the welcome team and your fellow newcomers. Historically we’ve done this over an evening meal, but that doesn’t always suit everyone’s diary, especially young families. Meeting up in an informal environment helps us to get to know you, and you to get to know us. It is an opportunity for you to find out a little bit about what goes on in the church and perhaps even how you could become involved. There will be toys and fruit available for children so please do bring them along too!
