They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
On Remembrance Sunday in Marlow there will be a parade of local groups from the Royal British Legion on Station Road to the War Memorial on The Causeway next to All Saints Church. This will then be followed by a serviceĀ of remembrance as we thinkĀ all those who lost their lives fighting for the freedoms we enjoy today.
At 11am we will take part in the traditional two minutes silence as we remember that moment almost 100 years ago on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month when the guns stopped firing and the war to end all wars came to an end.
The 8am and 9.15am services will be held as normal, as will the 6.30pm evensong, but there will be no 1059 service on this day.
