Jeffrey Smith took on the role of Churchwarden in 2015. Jeffrey has a background in the education sector, and in recent years has worked for the Department for Work and Pensions on recruitment and training projects to help young people and others into work in South West London. He has lived in Bourne End for many years, married to Maureen – also from a teaching background – and has a grown up family. In his spare time he enjoys the challenge of battling against the weeds and wildlife at his allotment in Little Marlow, though he is glad he is not paid by results – as the output in produce doesn’t quite match the effort in spadework – but never give up is my motto! He tries to keep a semblance of fitness through cycling and jogging and is determined to keep cycling to Little Marlow.
