Community Corner is a lovely, welcoming space where all generations come together to share company, conversation, and plenty of fun.
Held on the first Thursday of each month at the church, it’s a relaxed afternoon that brings together toddlers and their parents, alongside older members of our community, to enjoy each other’s company in a safe and sociable environment. There’s a friendly café area offering tea, coffee, and an impressive spread of delicious homemade cakes (which are always in generous supply!). Little ones are free to explore a wide variety of toys and activities, while others might enjoy a quieter corner with knitting, craft, or a board game or two. It’s a place where no one is in a hurry and everyone has time for a chat.
As the afternoon goes on, we come together for some intergenerational games – the sort that need all ages to get involved – followed by a cheerful sing-along that usually ends with a lot of smiles and maybe even a few surprises.
Whether you’re young, young-at-heart, or somewhere in between, Community Corner is a lovely way to feel connected and uplifted. Everyone is welcome – do come along and bring a friend!
