We have a team of DBS (CRB) checked leaders and helpers who are committed to developing the potential of every child through fun and exciting events and programmes.

Children belong at the heart of the church family, and so each of our churches offers something for children and young people. We think church should be fun and a place where all the family can feel welcomed and can find space to learn about God’s love. Lighthouse

Lighthouse is a very popular holiday club for children run by the Churches Together in Marlow. Every August, over 400 children joint together for a week of fun, games, worship and teaching.

Lighthouse was started in Great Missenden in 1987, since then it has spread and ‘daughter’ Lighthouses now run in surrounding areas, including Marlow. Lighthouse is an ecumenical Christian enterprise, to find out more visit the website.

Church Schools

Holy Trinity Church of England (A) School

Holy Trinity has been firmly established in the heart of Marlow since the early nineteenth century and on its current site since 1961. Whilst Marlow had four combined schools, Holy Trinity is the only Junior school in the town and offers parents the opportunity of choosing a Church of England education. The school has always maintained strong links with the community, parish and the Diocese. The foundation of the school within the Church of England and the Christian energy and ethos flowing from it is central to the staff and Governors of the school. The school primarily take pupils from Marlow and Little Marlow CofE Infant schools but also accept pupils from areas in the locality and was recognised by Ofsted as an outstanding school in 2014. Marlow Church of England Infant School

Marlow Church of England Infant School or ‘Sandygate’ as we are known locally and to our friends is situated in delightful and spacious grounds in the riverside town of Marlow. It is the only dedicated infant school in Marlow and offers specialist education for 4 to 7 year olds. There are 180 children on roll with two classes in Reception Years 1 and 2. At the end of Year 2 children transfer to Holy Trinity School which is our linked junior school. In March 2011 Ofsted judged our school to be an outstanding infant school for 4-7 year olds. Bisham Primary School

As a consequence of its ancient origins as a Church of England School, Christian values are built into the ethos of Bisham Primary School. The school seeks to develop the spiritual element of all in its community, basing its life on the model of a Christian family and on the importance of each individual member. It encourages understanding of, and respect for the beliefs of others. Together with the Church, the school has a collective responsibility to a wider community. It seeks to exercise this by helping to empower its pupils through its teaching programmes and encouraging a sense of community conscience by living the values it espouses. Little Marlow Church of England School

Little Marlow CofE School welcomes all children from the neighbourhood and seeks to provide them with the very best start in their education. The ethos of the school is that of a ‘family’ in which the children are valued and respected and learn to value and respect others. Little Marlow CofE School is a designated Church of England Voluntary Aided School for boys and girls aged 4 – 7 years. This means that the Local Education Authority (LEA) of Buckinghamshire County Council runs the school, in association with the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education.
