What is Project Shine?

Project Shine will bring people together and help build community.  It will provide Marlow Bottom with a new, modern, meeting space for the Church and local community.  It will take what has served the community for sixty years but is now getting tired and transform it into a modern, flexible, accessible and special building for Marlow Bottom.

This new space will bring young and old together.  It will help serve the entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Marlow Bottom.  It will offer community to the lonely, comfort to the hurting and hope to the lost.

It will both build on what is already there and allow brand new growth of things yet seen…

Sanctuary

Be a place of peace and refuge, where individuals can find rest and spiritual renewal.

Hope

It will offer a beacon of hope, like a lighthouse, to guide the community through life’s challenges.

Inspiration

Be a space that encourages personal and collective growth, like a greenhouse, fostering spiritual and community flourishing.

Nurturing

Provide a meeting house where members can connect, grow, and support one another, building a strong, caring community.

Empowerment

Equip individuals and families to serve their community and live out their faith, shining God’s light into the world.
